“Erase the Wait” Campaign

Kennedy Legacy Trail

on Main Street, Hyannis 

Celebrates the significant role the Kennedy¹s played in shaping the history of Hyannis and Cape Cod. The 1.6 mile trail consists of 10 informational signs that are placed at key locations from Main Street to the harbor, finishing up at the JFK Memorial at Veteran¹s Beach Each stop provides a brief history of the site and its significance to the Kennedy¹s and their life on Cape Cod. Visitors along the trail can retrieve additional information by accessing the QR code or dialing the number on each sign. Grief Recovery Workshop

The Grief Recovery Method is a course designed to give people skills to deal with many of the typical responses associated with grief including reduced concentration, a sense of numbness, disrupted sleeping patterns, changed eating habits and the roller coaster of emotional energy. Bird Walk & Talk

Bird Walk & Talk explores the birds of the season in 4 different habitats: marsh, meadow, woodland, and beach/shore. The walk will spend time looking for and listening to birds in each of these four habitats after a brief introduction to the Museum. The walk will also explain and utilize some of the latest birdwatching technology tools. It is suggested that participants bring binoculars and a smart phone. Girls Who Code

irls Who Code is a national organization to help end gender inequity in computer science. We’ll be meeting in the library but we can also zoom in people that feel more comfortable at home!
